Transporting goods across Albion Online is the lifeblood of the economy. Because fast travel with luggage is expensive, players must manually haul goods. This creates massive price spreads between cities. In this guide, we analyze the most profitable transport routes and how to run them safely.
1. The Royal City to Caerleon (Black Market Loop)
This is the classic and most profitable route in Albion. You buy weapons, armor, bags, and capes in Lymhurst, Bridgewatch, Thetford, Martlock, or Fort Sterling and transport them to the Caerleon Black Market.
- Risk: High. You must cross multiple red zones. Gankers frequently camp chokepoints.
- Reward: Extremely high. Profit margins are often 30% to 100% per item.
- Best Tool: Use ScanAlbion's Black Market Scanner to locate profitable spreads and the Cargo Optimizer to pack your mount capacity efficiently.
2. City-to-City Refining Arbitrage
Each Royal City has a 40% refining activity bonus for a specific resource type. For example, Lymhurst bonuses Fiber, while Martlock bonuses Hide. This makes raw resources expensive in the bonus city and refined blocks cheap. You can buy raw resources in a city where they are cheap, transport them to the bonus city to refine them, and then transport the refined blocks to a city where refining is not bonused to sell at a premium.
3. Faction Heart Transports
Accepting a faction transport mission allows you to carry Faction Hearts (e.g., Vine Hearts, Mountain Hearts) to a target outpost. While flagged, you are vulnerable to players of opposing factions, but the reward in faction points and silver is highly consistent and requires no initial market listing research.
