The Transport Mammoth is the undisputed king of cargo hauling in Albion Online, boasting a massive carry weight capacity of over 22,000kg. However, carrying capacity is not infinite. To maximize profits, you must solve the Bounded Knapsack Problem: filling your Mammoth with the highest profit density items.

Profit Density Formula

Profit density is the net profit of an item divided by its weight:

Profit Density = Net Profit / Item Weight

Stackable commodities like refined runes, souls, or high-tier materials have high profit densities. Heavy items like plate armor or T8 shields have low profit densities. By sorting items by profit density descending and filling your capacity greedily, you can double the silver yield of a single Mammoth transport run.
