Royal City Economies: Complete Resource & Crafting Trade Matrix

Royal City Economies: Complete Resource & Crafting Trade Matrix

Every major city in Albion Online has a distinct economic identity determined by regional resource availability and local refining/crafting return rate bonuses (RRR). Understanding this matrix is key to executing profitable trade runs.

City Resource & Refining Bonus Matrix

To maximize profits, you should never refine resources in a city without a specific RRR bonus. Here is the official distribution:

  • Fort Sterling: Wood Refining Bonus (+40% RRR with focus). Rich in Ore, Wood, and Rock.
  • Thetford: Ore Refining Bonus. Rich in Hide, Ore, and Fiber.
  • Lymhurst: Fiber Refining Bonus. Rich in Wood, Fiber, and Hide.
  • Bridgewatch: Stone Refining (Blocks) Bonus. Rich in Fiber, Hide, and Ore.
  • Martlock: Hide Refining Bonus. Rich in Rock, Ore, and Wood.
  • Caerleon: Food, Potions, and Tool Crafting Bonus. Has no refining bonuses but hosts the Black Market.

Exploiting the Regional Supply Deficit

Because Fort Sterling lacks Fiber and Lymhurst lacks Ore, raw materials sell at a premium in cities where they do not naturally spawn. By transporting raw resources from their native zones to cities where they are scarce, you can exploit regional supply deficits for easy, zero-risk profit margins before refining them.
