Enchantment Upgrade Arbitrage: Runes, Souls & Relics Profit Math

Equipment enchantment levels (.1, .2, .3, .4) drastically increase stats and market value. Often, the cost of buying a flat (.0) item and upgrading it manually with runes or souls is lower than buying the pre-enchanted item directly on the market.

Material Requirements by Slot

The number of runes, souls, or relics required to upgrade an item depends on its gear slot:

  • Two-Handed Weapons: 384 materials
  • One-Handed Weapons (Main Hand): 288 materials
  • Armor, Bags: 192 materials
  • Helmets, Boots, Capes, Off-Hands: 96 materials

Compare the price difference: `Price(.1) - Price(.0)` against `MaterialCount * MaterialPrice`. If the difference is positive, buy the flat item and materials, upgrade at the Artifact Foundry, and sell for easy profits.
